Amy Bucci Wedding Day - A Beautiful Girl, Her Sweet Fur Baby and a Most Amazing Day - October 24

Amy Ann Photography: "About Me Pretty things are fun to photograph; laughter, motion and tears inspire me. I want you to relive your memories in the pictures we make, and even discover moments you didn't know happened! My style is true-to-life, vibrant and in-the-moment. I aim to capture moments and connections that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to you as a couple or family. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job! My clients are fun, fearless and diverse, and they’re not just in Columbus! I shoot weddings all over Ohio and beyond. As an inclusive photographer, my mission from day one has been to capture and represent the love of ALL couples and families! Now in my 10th year of business, and hundreds of weddings later, I am as passionate as ever about the work I do, and why I do it." Amy Ann Photography captured the wedding day and all the best moments with her camera!

The cherry on top of the morning was Amy's gorgeous fur baby, Mia.  Oh my goodness!  This little cutie was a total scene stealer!  I don't know if I have ever seen such a cutie dog.  Amy had an outfit and special jeweled collar picked out for little Mia that just melted everyone's heart.   Although, the activities may have been slightly overwhelming, Amy handled it beautifully and sweet Mia made everything all better. The amazing and fun Amy, of Amy Ann Photography, was the perfect photographer to capture every element of the wedding day celebration.  Her talent exceeds expectations and it shows in her photos.
Amy's fur baby was the very most adorable addition to the wedding day!

On the morning of October 24, 2015, the weather was mild. An early start was in order and it was finally wedding day for a sweet girl who was ready for a day of festivities.  The day began at 8am for the party of seven which was the lovely Amy, her six bridesmaids and a sweet flowergirl.  The glamour process took place at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, Downtown (right outside of the Short North, connected to the Convention Center).

On a side note, they had High Street closed for the "HighBall" Celebration later that evening.  This totally threw me off and for some odd reason I tricked myself into thinking I was supposed to be at the Hilton Downtown, High Street.  So I valeted my car and went inside and knocked on the door that I thought Amy and her party was getting ready in.  Well, some young man answered, as I woke him.  Woops!  And suddenly I realized something was wrong.  So, after some checking, I realized I was supposed to be across the street at the Hyatt Regency not the Hilton.  haha.  So, I decided just to walk across the street and leave my car in the valet at Hilton for convenience sake.  Funny story, I just couldn't leave it out.

Back on track. So, once I finally arrived at the Hyatt Regency, seeing Amy and her gorgeous bridesmaids was quite a welcome sight!  Joy Macke, of State of Face Makeup, was setting up.  It is always a welcome sight to see one of my favorite makeup artists!  Her work is the best of the best without question.

Walking into Amy's hotel room was like walking into a girly girl's paradise!  There were glitter, sparkles and pink everywhere!  I loved it.  Amy had gone out of her way to decorate things just perfectly.  So much fun to get in a girly mood instantly.

The girls were scattered about but mostly sitting up at the high top bar/table.  So, I set up my station and we were good to go.  We started by setting all the girls in rollers.  This provided a most perfect base for beautiful hair styles of all sorts.  The styles were inspired by each other but each had it's own unique twist.  Before long, the little flower girl made her way in and we curled her hair.  She looked beautiful as well.

Amy's hair was all up with the perfect amount of volume and curl.  She looked absolutely stunning!  I showed her bridesmaids how to set her veil when she was ready for it and she was good to go.

A quick look back: Amy and Brad's proposal took place at North Bank Park, Columbus and was so sweet and romantic.  Amy Ann Photography also captured the proposal, which is always fun!

The day of ceremony was at St. Joseph Cathedral - Broad St. Columbus Downtown, which is a most stunning backdrop for such a romantic and dreamy wedding.

The celebration afterwards included a reception at the Vue Columbus (Brewery District).

A little fun fact: VUE is also the proud owner of the cancer prevention organization FLIP – Fight, Live, Inspire, Prevent. By attending our wedding, you will be also giving back to the cause and helping them to raise awareness to healthier lifestyle choices and overall well-being.  This is pretty awesome stuff!!!

Amy and Brad's wedding was something out of the pages of a "Happily Ever After".  Everything turned out amazingly.  The bride glowed, the groom looked quite dapper himself and the party was the perfect accent for all.

Congratulations Mrs. Amy (Bucci) and Brad Competty!  Here is to many happy and adventurous years making memories!  You sure got a perfect start.
