Look at the colors in this early November wedding photo.  Wow!  The colors of autumn are so refreshing and uplifting.  Carli Small, a University of Toledo graduate, married her soulmate yesterday, November 8, 2015. The wedding festivities began at 11a.  Joy Macke, of State of Face Makeup Artistry, and myself arrived to start the wedding day glamour at the Courtyard by Marriot on Spring St. in Downtown Columbus (right outside of the Arena District). The wedding party consisted of the beautiful bride, 2 bridesmaids and her mother.  The room was perfect and provided plenty of space for everyone to comfortably get ready and chill before the excitement began. I started by getting the bride and two bridesmaids into hot rollers while Joy was finishing up Carli's mother's makeup.  It works out perfectly to get everyone up in rollers in the beginning so that they can set in plenty of time.  Once all the girls were up in rollers, it was time for mom.  She has beautifully curly hair naturally.  We refined the curls then pulled them up into a side(ish) updo.  It looked quite stunning on her.  She looked like herself, just a little more glamorous. Once mom was finished, it was time for the bridesmaids.  They both wore their hair half up with gorgeous bouncy curls.  Fresh and stunning. Katzinger's Deli of Columbus delivered a perfect lunch for the ladies to enjoy before the hustle began. Finally, Carli wore her hair all up.  The style was full of sweet, chunky barrel curls with medium volume and slight texture.  She looked amazing.  The style was topped off with a jeweled broach and accented with 3 additional jeweled pieces that made a very special and unique finishing touch. Amy Ann Photography was there during the getting ready process. She took pictures of all the ladies getting their hair and makeup done. Amy is a lot of fun and brings a fresh, enjoyable and charismatic feel to her style of photography. Before we knew it everyone was finished and it was time to get the bride in her dress.  This usually signals that it is time for the glamour squad to leave.  So, we said our goodbyes and the hustle began for the bride and her party. They were off to their "First Look" outside in downtown Columbus and at the State House. The Jewish wedding took place and they celebrated at the Grange Audubon Center, right outside of German Village. The wedding reception took place during the OSU vs Wisconsin game, where I hear there may have been updates for the party goers.  When you are an OSU fan, it is hard not to wonder what may be going on! Ohio Brides Rock My World! Congratulations Carli and Stephen Cribb!  May you have many happy and adventurous years!
