Makeup Services were provided by the very talented Joy Macke of State of Face Makeup Artistry, Columbus, Ohio. Joy has been a very dear friend of mine for some time. We started in the wedding industry about the same time, so we have grown up together in a sense.
"Joy Macke has been a makeup artist since 2001. She got her start in makeup and styling with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Passion for makeup led her to retail cosmetics, where she worked for several companies as an area artist. After several years she became a Regional Education Executive.
After leaving retail to go freelance, she has worked on sets of videos, e-commerce sites, runway, commercials, tv shows, catalogs and magazines, as well as beautifying as many as 75 wedding parties annually. In 2019 she added 3 skilled and experienced artists to her bridal team, making it easier to fulfill the needs of central Ohio bridal parties.
