Here is a great piece of advice! "2 Reasons Why Marriage Shouldn't Scare You One of the things that many people think about is the kind of wife/husband they'd be. Have you ever thought about that and it just scares you straight? It's like a forced, voluntary pressure to be the best at it, hands down. By Candidly Kim, Contributor". "Getting married to the person you love is such an exciting experience. Just the thought of having someone else to ride through the storms of life with you; someone to come home to; someone who is committed to you and only you; someone to laugh with or cry with; someone you can lay in bed with and eat cold pizza at 3:00 a.m.; someone who calls you out when you're wrong; someone who will support that crazy dream. All of that! It's like a sleepover with your best friend for the rest of your life. One of the things that many people think about is the kind of wife/husband they'd be. Have you ever thought about that and it just scares you straight? It's like a forced, voluntary pressure to be the best at it, hands down. You want your spouse to think you're the best thing since slice bread and government cheese. You want them to desire you and never have eyes for another person. All of that translates into fear for some people. Again, that voluntary pressure to be the best; to be perfect. Thoughts flow through your mind such as "What if I am not good enough... What if I get tired and want to give up... What if they just don't do it for me anymore and my eyes start drifting? These are real thoughts that some may think about when considering marriage. Yet they still want it! So how does one get over that fear? How do you cancel the thoughts of not being good at this?"
Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "Do one thing every day that scares you." What a way to overcome the Covid scare.

These words hold a lot of power. This simple little sentence can be life changing.

The truth is that it can be very easy to hide away and take the cautious, more predictable road. However, what good really comes from the comforts of life? How do you grow if you don't reach?

Taking a leap of faith or making a decision that goes against the norm may sound daunting. However, what lies on the other side may be a new world of opportunities and success.

To get a little personal for a minute, I have had to take a lot of "leaps of faith" the last couple of years. Looking back, I find myself being astonished at the strength, courage and gratitude those "leaps of faith" brought into my life. Had I not taken those leaps of faith I would not know myself as I do now. These leaps helped me to become a person who lives life the way I am meant to. They also helped me to discover who I can be.

Life is a journey. It was never meant to be easy or comfortable all the time.

Taking a big leap of faith helped me to be able to plan and execute a really big event (Midwest Beauty Summit) that I never really imagined I could do. It also helped me to overcome a tragic and traumatizing situation at the same time we were planning that huge event. It is never going to get easier. What it takes is guts! Do you have the inner want to? Do you have enough want-to?

The "leap of faith" helps you to find a belief in yourself that may be untapped. Let's face it, we can all believe in ourselves a little more. Right??!

Whether you are in beauty school or looking for a new path in the beauty industry, now is the very best time to leap with faith! Follow your dreams, dream big and believe bigger Girl! You've got this. You can do it and you will do it.
